Digital Colorization: Marilyn
For this poster project I colorized, and added flair to, a black and white photo. I chose Marilyn Monroe due to her timelessness and bold persona. I tweaked the original image so my color additions would not be too dark. I used a basic flesh tone for her skin so she would look natural in some respects. I then added flashy colors to her hair, wardrobe, and surroundings to make her shine unnaturally, as she seemed to shine in real life.
